Thank you to Cube Dog for sponsoring this review. For more information about Cube Dog please visit the Facebook page or download it on iTunes.

My daughter wants a dog in the worst way.  She has been asking for years, undeterred by the fact that we have some major dog allergies in our family and it's just not going to happen.  Every now and then she'll mix things up by asking for a horse, but for the most part she's pretty dog-crazy.  So, when I told her I had the chance to review a virtual dog iPhone app, she was all over it. She commandeered my iPhone the minute the free Cube Dog app had downloaded.

Meet Bella.  My daughter's new green best friend.  She got to design her pet from scratch, choosing the eyes, face, body, and color.  We had fun taking photos of Bella around our house, which is one of the app features.  My daughter then focused on what Bella could do, besides look cute and pant.  It turns out Bella is no ordinary dog.  She can hit a beach ball with a bat, call you on her cell phone and, when the occasion calls for it, bust out some ninja moves.

Cube Dog features 3D graphics and animations, with the ability to rotate and zoom.  When I finally got my phone back, after the kids were in bed, I created Max.  Max didn't do a whole lot, until I started poking him with my finger and he giggled.  He soon tired of my tickling, though, and held up a sign that said, "Leave me alone."
