The kids are out of school!  If you're looking for free or cheap church programs this summer, here is a monster list of Vacation Bible School (VBS) programs for you to consider.  I will continue to add to this list as more information comes in, so feel free to bookmark this page.

Austin

• Hyde Park Baptist Church - "Big Apple Adventure." Free. June 6 - 9, from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  (Family VBS Kick-Off Event, June 5 at the Quarries at 5 p.m.)  Age: Completed Kindergarten through 8th grade. • City Worship Centre - "Gold Rush." June 6 - 10, from 9 a.m. - noon.  Ages 5 - 12. 13550 W. HWY 290, Austin, TX 78737 Register online.
• Shoreline - $25, Maximum $50 per family. June 6 - 9, from 8 a.m. - noon (West 9 a.m. start time).  Ages 5-9.  3 locations: North, Shoreline South and West (Scott and Kendall Fowler's Home).  Please contact the Children's Ministry office for a promo code if you have more than 2 family members in your household attending VBS.  Register online.
• Lake Hills Church - "Family Vacation." Free. June 13 - 17.  Morning Session: 9:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m.

• St. Julian of Norwich Episcopal and Lord of Life Lutheran - "Baobab Blast."  $20 per child ($50 per family max).  June 13-17, from 9 a.m. to noon.  Ages 4 to 4th grade.  9700 Neenah Ave, Austin.  Register online.

• Wells Branch Community Church - Kidz Klub.  Free. July 11 - 14, from 7:30 - 8:45 p.m.  There will be games, water fun, snacks and Bible Stories. For kids Kindergarten to 5th grade. No registration required, just show up! Katherine Fleischer Park near the pavilion.

Round Rock

• Round Rock Presbyterian Church - June 12 - 16, from 6 - 8 p.m. VBS will start each day with a meal at 5:30 p.m. Your family can eat each evening for an extra $15 for the week. Registration fee is $10 per student or $20 per family. • First United Methodist Church - "Hometown Nazareth." $5 donation requested. June 27 - July 1, from 9 a.m. - noon. Completed K - 5th grade.  500 East Pecan Street, Pflugerville.  Mail in registration form.
• Calvary Austin - "Xtreme IV Vacation Bible School Day Camp." June 27 - July 1, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (before and aftercare are available for an additional fee as well). $50 for first child, $25 for each additional child, prices are good thru June 10th. Before care cost $10 dollars for the week and begins at 7:30am, aftercare cost $10 for the week and goes till 5:30pm.  Ages 4 - 12.  1601 Pecan St. W. Pflugerville, TX 78660.  Register online.
• Hill Country Bible Church Pflugerville -Backyard Bible Clubs.  Free. July 11-14. Each club lasts one hour and fifteen minutes. Club times are 9:00am, 10:45am, 5:45pm and 7:30pm. Various Pflugerville neighborhoods.

San Marcos

• Calvary Baptist - June 19 - 23, from 6 - 8:30 p.m. Calvary VBS is open to children 3 years old to 6th grade in the recently completed school year.
