The University Co-op Presents the Cohen New Works Festival is a celebration of new work created by UT students that culminates in a week-long showcase, held throughout campus. It is not just an event, but a celebration of a continuously ongoing process-the creation of new work.  The festival will kick-off on Monday, March 28 with a Keynote Kick-off with James Still.  Still is the playwright-in-residence at the Indiana Repertory Theatre. His work has twice been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize and has been nominated for five Emmys. On March 28, Still will launch the first day of the University Co-op Presents the Cohen New Works Festival week with his keynote speech, "The Peaceful Warrior: What's Fabulous Got To Do With It?"

Following the keynote, audience members are invited to explore the installation pieces around the Winship and enjoy light refreshments in the Winship Atrium. Evening shows start up again at 8:30 p.m., so check the schedule for detailed information on performances taking place after the Keynote Kick-off Monday evening!
