Click on the links below for additional information, such as parking and road closures.  Also, make sure to note that certain celebrations are not allowing alcohol and glass containers.

Saturday, July 3
  • Patriotic Festival in Bastrop -  Saturday, July 3 from 6 - 9:30 p.m. in Fishermen's Park.  The celebration will include kiddie trains, games, and live music beginning at 6 p.m.  The Austin Symphonic Band will perform at 8 p.m.  Fireworks will commence at 9:20 p.m.
  • Lago Vista - The Lago Vista 4th of July Council presents this fireworks display on the north shore of Lake Travis, at Bar K Park.  The fireworks will begin after sundown.
  • Carlos & Charlie's Firework Extravaganza - Free fireworks display begins at sunset. (Rescheduled from Friday).
Sunday, July 4
  • The H-E-B Austin Symphony July 4th Concert and Fireworks — This event is planned and produced entirely by the Austin Symphony at Auditorium Shores at The Long Center.  The Austin Symphony Orchestra will begin performing at 8:30 p.m. and the fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m., ending at 10:00 p.m. 
  • 4th of July at Elizabeth Milburn Park in Cedar Park - On July 4, 2010 at Milburn Park (1901 Sun Chase Blvd.) starting at 4 p.m., enjoy a dance with live music, food concessions, air castles, face painting, dunking booth, carnival games, video games, laser tag, bingo, sack races, washer tournament, art projects, and free watermelon.  Admission is free.  The fabulous day of celebration will end with a magnificent fireworks display.  Recommended parking areas: CPHS, CPMS and ACC.  Recommended viewing areas: Milburn Park and CPMS. 
  • Sertoma's 4th of July Celebration in San Gabriel Park, Georgetown - Sunday, July 4, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.  Enjoy a parade, over 80 arts and crafts booths, a children's area, live music, petting zoo, train rides and face painting.   The “Fabulous Fireworks Finale” will begin at dark.
  • Independence Day Celebration Fireworks in Kyle - Held in Gregg-Clarke Park on Sunday, July 4, at 9:30 p.m.
  • 4th of July Celebration in Lakeway - A free concert featuring the Gary Lee Cox Band and his Texas Guitar Slingers will begin at 7:30 p.m. in City Park (502 Hurst Creek Road). The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m.
  • Leander LibertyFest at Crystal Falls Golf Club - Sunday, July 4 from 6-10 p.m., you can enjoy free music, fireworks and fun for the whole family!
  • Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival - Free activities and live music begin at Lake Pflugerville at 4 p.m.  The fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m.  Bring a bathing suit and swim in the lake!
  • July 4th Frontier Days Celebration in Round Rock - Rescheduled to July 16.
  • Hill Country Galleria 4th of July Celebration - Activities include free face painting, a clown, and a magician! Entertainment will be Josh & Kristi Grider, Ben Danaher, Charlie Shafter, and Kyle Bennett Band followed by the Fireworks Show at 9:30 p.m.
  • Wells Branch MUD 4th Fest - Beginning with a parade at 10 a.m., there will be free activities for families all day, ending with fireworks at 9:45 p.m.
  • Seaholm Power Plant - Festivities from 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.  The event is free, but parking is not.  Donations for Anthropos Arts are encouraged.  Food and drink will be available for sale.
  • Elgin’s July 4th Celebration and Fireworks: This free family friendly party and fireworks display will be held on Sunday, July 4, from 6:30 - 10 p.m. It will be held on Southside’s property at the corner of Hwy 290 and Hwy 95 N. Come out to enjoy fireworks, live music, Texas military display, face painting,and magicians.
